Based in Texas, George W. Rendziperis is joining KBF with 15 years of experience assisting taxpayers with matters involving state income, franchise, gross receipts, sales and use, withholding, controlling interest transfer, and real and personal property taxes, as well as unclaimed property and state tax credits and incentives. He also provides experienced counsel in state tax controversies, audit defense, and state tax litigation matters.
George provides support through nexus studies and analysis, state tax due diligence, look-back reviews (reverse tax audits), negotiation of voluntary disclosures, tax dispute resolution, state apportionment reviews, Public Law 86-272 analyses, taxability analyses, and transactional tax planning. He works with clients across all industries, including manufacturing, services, technology, oil and gas, e-commerce, financial services, and real estate.
George received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Michigan State University, his Master’s in Finance from Walsh College, and his B.A. in Economics and Political Science with a concentration in Accounting from Albion College. He is a former clerk to the Honorable Marilyn Kelly of the Michigan Supreme Court and currently serves on the Taxpayer Advocacy Group of the Texas Comptroller.
