Alan Ford

Alan Ford leads Practice Development at KBF Advisory, where he is focused on growing the firm's specialty tax practice lines, including International Inbound and Outbound Tax Compliance and Consulting, Transfer Pricing, and Expatriate Tax. As KBF expands into new markets, including Dallas, the Bay Area, and Atlanta, Alan drives the firm's introduction and relationship building efforts across each of these fronts.

Alan works closely with venture-backed, private equity-owned, and public companies, along with the investment bankers, transaction attorneys, and advisors who serve them. He also partners closely with KBF's Managed Accounting Services team on business development, helping extend the firm's MAS capabilities to clients alongside its specialty tax offerings. Through KBF's membership in the Praxity Alliance and his active involvement in professional networking communities such as ACG, he builds the connections that support KBF's growth and helps clients access the expertise they need as their businesses evolve.

Before joining KBF, Alan led business development at a local RIA, a wealth management and trust platform for a regional private bank, and a start-up alternative lending and private equity group. This background across wealth management, private banking, and alternative investments gives him a broad understanding of the financial partners and capital sources that KBF's clients rely on as they grow.
