Alex Nelson

Alex Nelson is the Director of Practice Development at KBF Advisory with more than 25 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, and client relationship management. He leads the firm's business development initiatives, helping expand KBF's market presence while fostering long-term relationships with clients and referral partners.

Alex is responsible for new client acquisition, strategic partnership development, client engagement initiatives, educational events, and marketing programs that support the firm's continued growth. His experience spans professional services, biotechnology, software, and technology industries, giving him a strong understanding of the evolving needs of today's business community.

Prior to joining KBF, Alex served as Managing Director for a regional accounting and finance consulting firm and previously held the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing for an emerging growth software company. He has also been actively involved in the nonprofit and technology communities, serving in leadership positions with Friends of Doernbecher Children's Hospital and the Technology Association of Oregon.
