He has led hundreds of R&D tax credit studies, helping businesses maximize available tax incentives while maintaining compliance with evolving IRS requirements.

Brian advises clients on R&D tax credit planning, project management, strategic documentation, and IRS examination defense. His experience spans a broad range of industries, including software development, computer technology, advanced manufacturing, architecture, and engineering. By combining technical tax experience with a practical understanding of innovation-driven businesses, Brian helps clients identify opportunities that support long-term growth.

Before joining KBF, Brian held leadership roles with national CPA firms and specialty tax consulting organizations. Earlier in his career, he practiced law and worked in the computer graphics industry developing flight simulators and video games, providing him with a unique perspective on the technologies that drive innovation today.
