David Unger

David joins KBF after almost 25 years in public accounting, leading transfer pricing engagements in planning, documentation, and dispute resolution. A native of Portland, Oregon, he works with companies across the country on complex international tax matters.

David began his career in transfer pricing at Arthur Andersen in London before spending over 21 years at KPMG, where he rose to Managing Director, leading the firm's Pacific Northwest transfer pricing practice. A University of Oregon economics graduate, David studied at Trinity College Dublin, the University of London, and the University of Aberdeen. He enjoys carpentry projects and volunteering at various local charities with his wife (an elementary school principal) and three daughters.
