Julie Laake

Julie Laake is a Senior Director at KBF Advisory with more than 20 years of experience specializing in ASC 740 accounting for income taxes and outsourced corporate tax services. She works with clients ranging from multinational public companies to early-stage startups, with particular experience serving organizations in the life sciences industry.

Julie advises clients on income tax accounting, federal and state tax compliance, IPO readiness, mergers and acquisitions, consolidated tax reporting, and stock-based compensation. She is committed to simplifying the tax provision process by delivering practical solutions that help organizations improve efficiency while maintaining compliance with complex tax regulations.

Prior to joining KBF in 2014, Julie was a Manager in PwC's San Diego tax practice, where she advised public and private companies on corporate tax accounting and compliance. Her combination of technical experience and client-focused service has made her a trusted advisor to organizations navigating both routine and highly complex tax matters.
