Laura Bergstrom

Laura Bergstrom is a Senior Director at KBF Advisory with more than 20 years of experience specializing in corporate tax accounting and ASC 740 accounting for income taxes. She advises clients ranging from Fortune 500 public companies to emerging growth startups, serving organizations across the manufacturing, retail and consumer products, technology, and biotechnology industries.

Laura provides strategic guidance on a wide range of corporate tax matters, including income tax accounting, federal tax compliance, consolidated returns, mergers and acquisitions, accounting methods, and stock-based compensation. Her practical approach and extensive technical knowledge enable clients to navigate complex tax issues while building efficient and effective tax processes.

Before joining KBF in 2020, Laura spent nine years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Portland and six years serving as an in-house Tax Director for publicly traded corporations. In addition to her client work, she is actively involved in the Oregon Society of CPAs, where she previously served on the Board of Directors and currently chairs the Professional Conduct (Ethics) Committee.
