Lisa Slater

Lisa began her career at PwC in the Assurance practice. From there, she joined Levi Strauss & Co. where she worked in both the Demand Planning and Americas Finance departments. Following that, she was Director of FP&A at Riverdeep, an EdTech firm that merged with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and then Director of Finance at Gymboree. She spent almost a decade at Golden Gate University, serving as Chair of the School of Accounting. While there, she also consulted on startups at Kong Basile Consulting. She was the first internal finance hire at Eko, a health tech startup. Most recently, she founded Three Butterflies Consulting (3B) to address the needs of early-stage tech startups. Lisa has a Masters in Accounting from Golden Gate University, a MA in Economics from University of St. Andrews, UK, and a Certificate in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School Online. She is a Certified Management Accountant.
