Todd D. Nakamoto

Todd D. Nakamoto is a Senior Director at KBF Advisory with more than 30 years of experience providing tax accounting and consulting services to public and private companies. His practice focuses on ASC 740 accounting for income taxes, tax provision preparation and review, tax compliance, and strategic corporate tax consulting.

Todd partners with clients on a wide range of tax matters, including uncertain tax positions (FIN 48), accounting methods, research and development tax credits, international tax, and multi-state tax planning. He is recognized for his collaborative approach and commitment to helping organizations improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their tax functions while navigating complex financial reporting requirements.

Before joining KBF, Todd held leadership roles with Deloitte Tax LLP and BDO Seidman, serving both multinational SEC registrants and closely held businesses across diverse industries. Throughout his career, he has been deeply involved in developing tax professionals through national, regional, and local training programs focused on ASC 740 and corporate tax accounting.
