Troy Bluske

Troy is a state and local tax consultant with over 20 years of experience advising a variety of clients, ranging from emerging growth startups to Fortune 100 companies, on sales and use tax matters. Troy’s sales tax experience includes performing nexus evaluations, voluntary disclosure agreements, tax due diligence, audit defense, appeals, and sales tax planning and research. In addition, Troy has assisted clients with recovering millions of dollars of tax overpayments by identifying and executing on applicable sales and use tax credits, incentives, and refund opportunities.

Prior to joining KBF, Troy served as a State and Local Tax Director with Grant Thornton, and most recently as a Director of Professional Services for Avalara, a sales tax software and compliance company.
Troy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, and is a licensed CPA in Minnesota.
