May 11 — KBF Advisory Joins Merrill to Kick Off Portland Startup Week 2026

This kickoff celebration brings together founders, operators, investors, builders, and community partners for a night of connection, conversation, and community. May 12 — Oregon CleanTech Ecosystem Reception Hosted by E8 Angels
KBF is a proud partner of the Oregon CleanTech Ecosystem Reception, presented by E8 Angels and held in conjunction with the Oregon Innovation Showcase. This reception brings together investors, companies, and partners working at the forefront of energy, mobility, the built environment, circular economy, and sustainable materials. We are joining co-hosts E8 Angels and Prosper Portland, alongside fellow partners Silicon Valley Bank and JLL, to help foster connection and conversation among those advancing Oregon’s cleantech future.

May 13 — Startup World Cup Portland Regional at U.S. Bancorp Tower
KBF is a proud partner of the inaugural Pegasus Venturers Startup World Cup Portland Regional, taking place at the Upstart Collective at the U.S. Bancorp Tower. This exciting new event puts Oregon startups on a global stage, with 10 companies selected from 100+ applicants competing live before a distinguished panel of Oregon and out-of-state angels and VCs. The regional winner advances to the Grand Finale in San Francisco on November 18 to 20, competing for $1,000,000. Oregon Secretary of State Tobias Read will deliver the opening remarks, and the event is being organized in collaboration with Business Oregon’s Oregon Innovation Showcase, Greater Portland Inc., the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network, and Upstart Collective’s Portland Startup Week.

May 14 — Oregon AI Accelerator Demo Day: 20 Startups Pitch Live
We will be attending the Oregon AI Accelerator Demo Day, the culminating event of the inaugural Oregon AI Accelerator cohort. Twenty of the region’s most promising AI startups will take the stage at the U.S. Bancorp Tower to deliver live pitches and product demos to investors and the broader tech and business community. Sponsored by Google and backed by Oregon’s leading tech organizations, universities, and investors, this event marks a significant milestone for the state’s emerging AI ecosystem.

May 14 — Demolicious is Back at Portland Startup Week 2026
Demolicious is a monthly pitch event where Portland founders get three minutes to tell their story in front of a live crowd. The audience votes, and the winner takes home the championship belt. KBF is supporting this edition as part of Portland Startup Week 2026. Come out, watch some pitches, and see who walks away with the belt.
