KBF Advisory Opens Dallas Fort Worth Office

Dallas-Fort Worth has become one of the busiest markets in the country for companies relocating, expanding, or scaling up. This growth has made it challenging for finance and tax leaders to find advisors who can keep up with their complex enterprise needs. KBF Advisory hopes to address that gap directly with the opening of a new office in the region, located at 1785 State Highway 26, Suite 200, Grapevine, TX.

Meet KBF’s Dallas Leadership Team

The new office is led by Eric Wilhelm, Controller and local contact for KBF’s managed accounting services team, and Scott Montopoli, Senior Director, who brings more than 25 years of experience in corporate and international taxation, including advising multinational businesses on cross-border matters. KBF plans to add more team members in the region as the office grows.

Local Relationships, Firm-Wide Resources

KBF’s Dallas team gives local clients something valuable: a consistent, local point of contact for day-to-day accounting needs, backed by the ability to pull in professionals from across the firm (tax, assurance, transactions, GAAP advisory) as situations get more complex. It’s a model built around combining local relationships with the broader resources of the firm, rather than making clients choose between the two.

Dallas-Fort Worth also marks KBF’s third new market expansion in 2026, with additional locations already planned. “Our focus is on giving clients experienced, practical advisors who understand their business,” said Peter Buss, CEO and Managing Director.

It also reflects something about the Dallas-Fort Worth market itself. Few U.S. metro areas have seen the same convergence of corporate relocations, private equity activity, and venture-backed growth in recent years. Businesses in that environment tend to outgrow generalist accounting support quickly. They need partners who’ve already worked with companies facing similar inflection points, whether that’s a transaction, an international expansion, or simply the complexity that comes with faster growth.
